About the job Fire Equipment Sales Specialist - Northwest Indiana

We are seeking a Firefighting Equipment Sales Specialist to cover the Northwestern Indiana area. You will be responsible for selling fire fighting equipment to fire departments within a defined territory.

The ideal candidate should reside in the defined territory, as outlined in the below. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships, demonstrating products, finding solutions, product demonstrations and customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selling to and serve fire departments in your defined territory.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and create new customer relationships
  • Demonstrate and introduce new products
  • Provide technical support and training on our product offering
  • Staying up to date on industry trends
  • Manage order pipeline
  • Be someone who helps your clients get what they need by being an expert in the field and recommending appropriate products. Customer needs are always first!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some knowledge of firefighting equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven track record in sales and customer service
  • Current or past fire service experience preferred

SALARY INFORMATION:

As an Allied sales employee you have the option of straight commission (1099) pay, with a higher commission percentage, or to receive a base salary, and a smaller commission percentage on top of that negotiated base.
