We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team. The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial statements, and overseeing cash flow management. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in QuickBooks, familiar with Square and Monday.com, and experienced in both accrual and cash accounting.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Manage cash flow, monitor expenses, and provide financial forecasts.Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, transaction management, and financial reporting.
Work with Square to track and reconcile transactions.
Use Monday.com to organize and manage financial tasks and workflows.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation and reporting.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Provide financial insights and summaries to assist management in decision-making.
Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.Proficiency in QuickBooks, with experience managing financial transactions and reporting.
Familiarity with Square and Monday.com is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accrual and cash accounting methods.
Experience in reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and financial accounts.
Solid understanding of AP/AR processes and financial statement preparation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Amenable to work Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM PacificTime (PDT/PST)
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or other relevant accounting certifications.
Experience working in a financial or business consulting environment.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other accounting software.
Pay: $1000 - 1200 + $55 Allowance per month
