Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting duties, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and month-end/year-end closing activities of multiple accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries of multiple accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and budgets for management review for multiple accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions of multiple accounts
- Prepare and manage invoices through platforms such as Square, Stripe, or other similar payment gateways, ensuring accurate and timely billing for services rendered.
- Manage the company's accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including monitoring due dates and ensuring timely payments.
- Monitor and review financial transactions, expenses, and revenues to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks of multiple accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated with accounting principles, standards, and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Ad hoc tasks from the client.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- CPA - Not required but is a Plus!
- Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and general accounting tasks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online (and other accounting software) and MS Excel.
- Proficiency in Square and Stripe platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Amenable to work Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $700 - $800 per month + $50 Allowance
Note: This role is only available to candidates from Kosovo and Albania.
