Position Overview:

MPT  is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the Mobile Money Department, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance Team Manager to lead the entire team
• Responsible for accounting & financing daily activities including new bank reconciliation between the bank statement and financial records, payment, relevant internal system (SAP, CPS, etc), preparation of relevant reports (financial statements (PL/BS/CF), etc.), preparation of relevant reports (financial statements (PL/S/CF), etc
• To communicate with relevant teams (JO finance division, other team's PIC, internal audit, etc), management (DGMs/Directors, etc), and external parties (Central Bank, external audit, etc)
• To instruct, supervise, and motivate team members to develop their skills and effective teamwork to perform effectively as an entire team. Efficient resource management is required
• To analyze the internal operational procedure (related to the finance team) and improve the process
• Capability of considering appropriate accounting procedures based on MPT Money's business situation & transactions
• Smooth & timely payment to external parties with strong monitoring and tracking of the progress of initiators and approver's actions
• Negotiation with Banks the Finance Department and relevant internal and external parties for smooth daily operation
• Data analysis on revenue and cost performance
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/ CPA or LCCI Level III
• Excellent Accounting skills
• A general tax-related skill is preferred Analytical Ability
• Understanding the Financial Report and Bank Reconciliation Report
• Negotiation ability
• Accuracy and Punctuality
• 3 to 5 years' experience in preparation of financial reports in manager role
• Knowledge of financial accounting & reporting
• Preferred experience to interact with internal audit and external audits
• Prefer working experience in financial services
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
