Job Summary

The Inventory & Supply Management Specialist supports store-level stock accuracy, replenishment coordination, and the implementation of inventory control processes. The role conducts regular monitoring of inventory movement, assists in cycle counts, tracks discrepancies, and coordinates with stores, Warehouse, and Merchandising to ensure optimal stock availability.

This role provides essential field and office-based support to maintain accurate inventory, reduce losses, and promote compliance with stock movement SOPs across the MR.DIY store network.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Monitoring & Stock Accuracy Support

  • Monitor store inventory data, variance reports, and cycle count results on a regular basis.

  • Support the execution and validation of cycle counts in coordination with stores and Area Managers.

  • Track aging items, overstocks, and stock health indicators; escalate issues to the Manager for resolution.

Replenishment Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating replenishment requirements between Warehouse, Merchandising, and stores.

  • Track incoming replenishment accuracy and store receipts; report discrepancies for correction.

  • Support peak-season and campaign replenishment planning.

Loss Prevention & Variance Tracking

  • Review store-level inventory discrepancies and assist in root cause identification.

  • Maintain an updated log of discrepancies, shrinkage incidents, and corrective actions.

  • Provide support in implementing loss-prevention routines and follow-through.

SOP Implementation Support

  • Assist in monitoring store compliance with inventory management SOPs (receiving, transfers, counts, adjustments).

  • Conduct field visits to validate proper execution of stock-handling procedures.

  • Document and report compliance gaps.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory health reports and variance summaries.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement, adjustments, and cycle count documentation.

  • Support the Manager in preparing analytics and presentations as needed.

Store Support & Coordination

  • Provide guidance to store teams on inventory handling, proper documentation, and SOP adherence.

  • Coordinate with Area Managers for follow-ups on discrepancies, cycle count completion, and inventory issues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in retail inventory control, stock monitoring, warehouse operations, or replenishment.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numeric data.

  • Good coordination and communication skills; able to work with store teams and cross-functional departments.

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic inventory systems.

  • May be required to travel to stores and business locations nationwide to support project implementation, on-ground assessments, and strategic initiatives.

  • Amenable to work in Eastwood, Libis.
