Job Summary

The Culture & Engagement Officer executes culture and engagement initiatives across MR.DIY. The role supports survey administration, employee programs, communications, and engagement campaigns, ensuring consistent implementation across the nationwide retail network and the head office.

Key Responsibilities:

Culture Strategy & Alignment

  • Support the cascading of MR DIY core values and cultural anchors across business units, stores, and warehouses
  • Assist in executing the culture roadmap aligned to business milestones (expansion, leadership capability, IPO readiness)
  • Coordinate periodic culture audits, pulse checks, or behavioral assessments to measure values alignment
  • Consolidate culture insights and support leaders and HRBPs in reinforcing desired behaviors 

Employee Engagement & Organizational Health

  • Support the execution of enterprise-wide employee engagement surveys and pulse checks (planning, logistics, communications)
  • Analyze engagement data to identify trends, hotspots, and key engagement drivers across employee segments
  • Work with HRBPs and line leaders to translate engagement findings into practical action plans
  • Track engagement outcomes such as retention trends, absenteeism, performance signals, and employee advocacy

Internal Brand & EVP Activation

  • Translate the EVP into internal communications, onboarding content, and recognition initiatives
  • Support value-based internal campaigns that reinforce desired behaviors and cultural priorities
  • Assist in the design and coordination of recognition programs aligned to MR DIY values
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure EVP messaging is consistent for both internal and external audiences

Program Coordination & Reporting

  • Maintain engagement and culture dashboards, trackers, and documentation
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership and management forums
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on action plans and initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement of culture and engagement tools and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HR, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, or Internal Communications
  • Experience supporting engagement surveys, culture programs, or internal branding initiatives preferred
  • Exposure to retail, multi-site, or fast-growing organizations is an advantage
