Job Summary:
The Quality Management Officer is responsible for driving end to end quality performance across warehouse operations, ensuring KPI achievement (DDR & other damage categories) through on-ground enforcement, proactive issue detection, and across-functional resolution. The role ensures that quality standards are not only monitored but strictly implemented and sustained across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Ground Quality Enforcement
- Conduct regular warehouse visits (Dasma, Tonivic, and other assigned sites.
- Perform floor audits across collecting, packing, dispatch, and storage areas.
- Immediately identify, escalate, and enforce correction of SOP deviations.
- Validate that corrective actions are implemented properly on the floor.
2. KPI Ownership & Performance Improvement
- Own and drive improvement of:
- DDR (WH IMPACT)
- OTHER DAMAGE CATEGORIES
3.Proactive Issue Detection
- Identify potential quality risks before escalation.
- Monitor operational patterns that may lead to errors or damages
- Recommend preventive actions based on trend analysis and observation
4.Root Cause & CAPA Leadership
- Lead structured root cause analysis for major quality issues:
- Ensure corrective and preventive Actions(CAPA) are:
- Implemented, Verified on the floor, sustained over time.
- Prevent repeat issues through system enforcement.
5.Cross functional Coordination & Escalation
- Coordinate with RTM, purchasing, warehouse operations, and compliance teams.
- Escalate unresolved or repeated non-compliance cases.
- Ensure alignment on packaging, handling and operational standards.
6.Audit & Compliance Leadership
- Ensure audit readiness across all warehouses at all times.
- Conduct internal compliance checks and follow through validation.
- Strengthen adherence to SOP's and quality documentation standards.
7.Leadership & Coaching (SUPERVISOR ALIGNMENT)
- Provide direction and technical guidance to QM Supervisors.
- Ensure Supervisors execute daily compliance and corrective actions properly.
- Strengthen operational discipline through coaching and escalation when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field (Engineering, Management, Logistics, etc)
- Experience in warehouse operations or quality enforcement (not properly reporting roles.
- Strong background in: Root cause analysis, Process improvement, Operational quality control.
- Comfortable working in field based, high pressure environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel / Reporting tools is an advantage.
