Job description
Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for organizing and supervising the process of sourcing and purchasing essential own-use materials for MR DIY PH operations. The duties include researching own-use materials suppliers, comparing costs, and negotiating purchase agreements. Developing inventory controls, organizing, and supervising the issuance of RTM stores own-use supplies including main office and WH request is also part of the duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and evaluate suppliers for transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution services.
- Negotiate contracts & service level agreements (SLA) with logistics providers.
- Analyze logistic costs and implement cost-saving strategies w/o compromising service quslity.
- Manage purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delays, compliance or quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams (outbound and finance) to align procurement strategies with operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with incoterms and company procurement policies.
- Support Logistics planning by providing timely procurement of freights.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on logistics procurement KPI's.

- Strong negotiation & communication skills, adaptability, ethical judgement and integrity
- Data analysis & reporting, Contract management, Logistics coordination, Sourcing & supplier Eval., Cost reduction & Budgeting.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply chain management, logistics, Business administration, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience on Logistics Procurement.
