Key Responsibilities
Business Permit Renewal
- Manage and oversee the renewal process for business permits for all assigned stores.
- Ensure the timely submission of all necessary documentation to local government units (LGUs) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
- Assist store managers in understanding and complying with permit renewal requirements and deadlines.
Compliance Monitoring and Documentation
- Monitor and track compliance with regulatory requirements for each store, using a compliance checklist to ensure all permits and licenses are up to date.
- Act as the main point of contact between stores and relevant local government agencies regarding permit-related issues.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate information to stores on the required documentation, processes, and deadlines for business permit renewals.
- Coordinate with stores to gather and submit required documentation and follow up on missing or incomplete information.
Reporting and Record Keeping
- Type and transcribe correspondence related to permit renewal and compliance matters, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Organize and maintain all compliance-related records, ensuring files are complete, up to date, and easily accessible for future reference.
- Prepare regular compliance reports or documentation summarizing store status, renewal progress, and any issues that need attention.
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Perform routine compliance tasks as required, including follow-up with stores on missing documentation or unresolved compliance issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting or resolving issues that may arise during the business permit renewal process, including discrepancies in documentation or missed deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience in business permits or regulatory compliance is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Organizational skills and experience in managing documentation and compliance records.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant office tools.
- Willingness to work onsite from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
