Job Summary

The Senior Manager for Inventory & Supply Management is responsible for ensuring that the right products are available in stores at the right time through effective inventory control, stock accuracy, replenishment planning, and loss prevention efforts. This role oversees store-level inventory governance and leads the team responsible for monitoring stock movements, cycle counts, aging items, overstocks, and replenishment coordination.

The role works closely with WSHE, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Finance to maintain optimal stock health, reduce inventory losses, and ensure operational execution of stock movement SOPs across the entire store network.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Governance & Stock Accuracy

  • Lead and implement store-level inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability.

  • Oversee nationwide cycle counts and variance monitoring; ensure timely corrective actions for discrepancies.

  • Monitor aging inventory, overstock items, and stock health levels across stores; coordinate with Merchandising and WSHE for resolution.

Replenishment & Supply Coordination

  • Partner with WSHE and Merchandising Management to support stock availability planning, replenishment cycles, and seasonal/peak demand requirements.

  • Ensure stores receive accurate and timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs or excessive stocks.

  • Assess replenishment patterns and provide insights to Merchandising on SKU demand, sales movement, and inventory risks.

Loss Prevention & Inventory Risk Management

  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing inventory losses, shrinkage, and discrepancies.

  • Analyze root causes of store-level variances and recommend preventive and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with Operations and WSHE teams on process improvements to minimize stock-loss risks.

SOP Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent implementation of stock movement SOPs, including receiving, transfers, cycle counts, returns, and adjustments.

  • Conduct periodic audits to assess store compliance; develop improvement plans for non-compliant stores.

  • Maintain and update SOPs and inventory management guidelines.

Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop performance dashboards and analytics on inventory position, replenishment efficiency, loss rates, and stock accuracy metrics.

  • Identify operational constraints and recommend improvements in inventory flow and stock handling processes.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline stock movement and enhance inventory reliability.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the Inventory & Supply Management team, ensuring strong analytical and operational capability.

  • Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, WSHE, Retail Operations, Finance, and BI/Analytics to address inventory challenges and align on solutions.

  • Provide guidance to stores and Area Managers on inventory-related concerns and improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, retail operations, or warehouse/store inventory control.

  • Strong understanding of retail stock flow, replenishment, cycle counting, and loss prevention.

  • Proficient in inventory systems, data analytics, and Excel-based reporting.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • May be required to travel to stores and business locations nationwide to support project implementation, on-ground assessments, and strategic initiatives.

  • Amenable to work in Eastwood, Libis.
