Senior Architect

Key Responsibilities

The position is responsible for delivering architectural design services for project construction facilities (including main industrial facilities and supporting infrastructure) from the initial research and concept stage through to turnkey project completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct initial site assessments to determine building type, architectural style, and scale, while providing preliminary architectural consultation and relevant information to project stakeholders.

• Develop architectural planning from the early concept stage and carry out the necessary research, analysis, and calculations required for architectural design. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, engineers, and project team members throughout the design process.

• Work with project stakeholders during preliminary engineering planning and design phases, and provide architectural supervision for work performed by partner organizations.

• Prepare comprehensive architectural planning and conceptual design in accordance with project requirements, functionality, and efficiency.

• Develop preliminary concept designs and detailed architectural drawings in compliance with applicable Mongolian laws, regulations, building codes, and standards, while meeting client requirements and project master planning objectives.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and project requirements when architectural design work is outsourced to third parties, while maintaining client-side architectural supervision throughout the process.

• Coordinate with engineering disciplines including structural, HVAC, piping, electrical, communication systems, and cost estimation to ensure proper integration of architectural planning and design.

• Provide stakeholders with comprehensive project information including design documentation, materials, cost estimations, and project schedules.

• Prepare additional project-related documentation beyond architectural drawings as required within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Job Requirements

Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in Architecture or a related field.

Field of Study:
Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design or related fields.
