Role Purpose: 

• Manage SURF EPCI Scope related to deepwater rigid flowline, jumpers and Subsea Structures (ILT, PLET, PLEM). Act as SME on rigid flowline, jumpers, subsea structures and subsea valves
• Manage and review EPCI contractor deliverables:
  • Engineering calculations, design reports, drawings
  • Installation procedures, FAT/SIT documentation
• Interface with and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams:
  • Subsea systems (trees, connectors)
  • Host facility (FPSO/topside)
  • Survey: Geophysical, Geotechnical, Metocean
  • Flow Assurance
• Monitor line pipe supplier selection process by EPCI Contractor, provide support to EPCI Contractor to ensure compliance with Government of Indonesia regulation in terms of local content, obligation of domestic product, master list and all other applicable regulations.
• Monitor the progress on deepwater seamless line pipe and deepwater SAWL segment procurement, resolve for any technical or non-technical issues that may arise.
• Monitor the progress on Subsea Structures (ILT, PLET, PLEM) including ensuring all different components such as fitting, flanges, piping, valves are well managed to support the fabrication activities.
• Monitor procurement on deepwater large bore and small-bore subsea valves including ensuring timely delivery by subsea supplier and EPCI contractor
• Act as Company Site Representative during offshore SURF campaign
• Support Pre-commissioning (cleaning, gauging, hydrotest), Leak testing and system validation, Final hook-up and commissioning
• Lead technical, interface, progress meeting as required
• Provide input to weekly, monthly and all other ad-hoc progress report to project leadership team
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards (DNV, API, ISO) and Government of Indonesia regulation (SNI).
• Ensure deliverables meet technical, safety, and schedule requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible to develop project definition and design basis for subsea system which include subsea architecture, preliminary flow schematic, umbilical sizing, project cost and schedule.
• Support Project Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer to build subsea project execution plan including stage gate process, project cost, schedule and assurance plan.
• Responsible to execute subsea engineering conceptual stage, Pre-FEED up to EPCI stage.
• Responsible to develop SURF and /or SEV contracting strategy, generate contract scope of work and tender process.
• Responsible to execute and manage subsea contracts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree Engineering.
• Minimum 15 year experiences in oil & gas project with specific 10 years experience in deepwater subsea engineering and project.
• Highly knowledge and experience in deepwater subsea engineering and technology from concept level, pre-FEED until EPCI stage for SURF and SEV.
• Hands on in subsea installation, SIT, pre-comm and commissioning of SURF.
• Experienced in subsea tender process and managing contract execution.
• Knowledge and experience in project management would be an advantage.
