Technical Liaison

Role Purpose:
To facilitate and coordinate the Company's technical operations in alignment with regulatory requirements by ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the Company, Government Entities, and relevant internal functions on technical matters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitate the Company's technical operations to ensure full alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Act as the main communication bridge between the Company and Government Entities (e.g. SKK Migas, Ditjen Migas, and other relevant authorities) on technical aspects.
- Coordinate with relevant internal functions to engage effectively with Government Entities.
- Support preparation, review, and submission of technical documentation and approvals related to upstream operations (including POD, FEED, and project development stages).
- Ensure the Companys compliance with applicable Government Regulations, Ministerial Decrees, and SKK Migas procedures (PTK).
- Monitor and communicate updates on regulatory changes that may impact technical operations.
- Promote a cooperative and compliant relationship between the Company and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or Engineering (e.g., Petroleum, Reservoir, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a liaison, regulatory, or government engagement role.
- Proven track record in technical advisory, project development, and regulatory alignment for upstream operations, including POD and FEED stages.
- Hands-on experience dealing with SKK Migas, Ditjen Migas, and other Indonesian regulatory bodies.
- Experienced in preparing and submitting technical documentation for approvals.
Skills:
- Familiar with Government Regulations, Ministerial Regulations, and SKK Migas Guidelines (PTK).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multi-stakeholder discussions between government agencies and internal technical teams.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian oil and gas regulations, including SKK Migas guidance and Aceh-specific governance (if applicable).
- Strong capability to interpret and align technical operations with government expectations and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in securing technical approvals and managing compliance reporting to government bodies.
- Strong liaison and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent company interests in technical forums and discussions.
- Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and functional areas.
