Role Purpose:
The Post order Manager, reporting to FPSO Manager, is responsible for the governance, monitoring, and follow-up of EPC Contractors' post-award supply chain activities for FPSO projects in a lease and operate environment.
The role ensures that all contractors are taking necessary proactive actions to guarantee that procured materials and equipment are delivered in line with construction schedules (Required On Site – ROS), project milestones, and Mubadala Energy quality standards.
The position focuses on contractors performance oversight rather than direct execution, with accountability retained for Purchase Orders issued directly by Mubadala Energy, ensuring that EPC Contractors effectively manage Expediting, Inspection, and Logistics functions in full alignment with contractual and project requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team covering Expediting, Inspection, and Logistics, ensuring alignment, accountability, and high performance across all post-order activities
- Monitor and follow up EPC Contractors' post-order activities across Expediting, Inspection, and Logistics
- Ensure EPC Contractors deliver all procured items in line with ROS dates and construction priorities
- Review and challenge contractors' expediting strategies, progress, and recovery plans for critical and long lead items (LLIs)
- Oversee contractor performance through KPIs, audits, and regular progress reviews
- Ensure inspection activities performed by EPC Contractors comply with project specifications and quality standards
- Monitor logistics execution ensuring alignment with project schedule
- Identify risks and gaps in contractor performance and enforce mitigation and corrective actions
- Interface with EPC Contractors and vendors through regular meetings and site visits to ensure transparency and alignment
- Ensure full material traceability and documentation compliance across the supply chain
- Provide consolidated reporting to Mubadala Energy senior management on delivery status, risks, and contractor performance
- Act as focal point within Mubadala Energy for post-order governance on FPSO projects
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (Project, Procurement, Quality) to ensure alignment with EPC Contractors
- Drive a culture of execution discipline, accountability, and performance monitoring
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in contractor management and supply chain oversight
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
Education:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field. Master's degree would be preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / Offshore projects / Supply Chain / Post Order Management
Skills:
- Knowledge
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of expediting, inspection, and logistics processes
- FPSO project experience (fabrication, integration)
- Strong experience in EPC Contractor management and performance monitoring
