Objectives
To provide exposure and training to interns interested to obtain a thorough understanding in accounting in upstream Oil & Gas industry. Scope includes:
- Testing of the finance internal control framework testing of finance procedures to ensure no exceptions/yearly exercise. The preparation exercise involves conducting management testing prior to an audit by external auditors.
- Financial evaluation financial statement evaluation/assessment for the purpose of tender exercise; criteria or requirements as part of the vendor or contractor selection process.
- Monthly financial closing process journal posting (simple), bank reconciliation/Cash management process
- Invoice processing
Pre-Requisite
Malaysian studying full-time at local/overseas universities.
Academic Qualification: Studying Bachelor/Master Degree. Achieved minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 at the point of internship application.
Field of Study: Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Competencies required:
- Good written and oral communication in English
- Good computer skills Microsoft Office application
- Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
- Motivated to learn and improve knowledge and skills
- Leadership experience and capabilities through extra-curricular activities
