(Direct Contract - Fixed Term Employee)

Support the Finance Department in preparing, analyzing, and monitoring budgets and financial reports for the Indonesia Business Unit (IDBU). This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial information in accordance with internal policies, PSC regulations, and applicable accounting standards, while providing financial insights to support management decision-making and business performance.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Budgeting & Planning

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of Business Plan, Latest Estimate, Annual Budget (WP&B), and OCM/TCM for JV Partners and SKK Migas.
  • Support budget structure re-mapping and reconstruction when required to improve accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Monitor budget realization and provide variance analysis to support cost control and forecasting.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare periodic financial and regulatory reports (e.g., FMR, FQR, JIB) accurately and within required timelines.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes related to budgeting and reporting activities.
  • Ensure consistency of financial data across internal, JV partner, and regulatory reporting.

Analysis & Business Support

  • Perform revenue and cost analysis, including balance sheet review based on JV reporting.
  • Provide financial insights and variance explanations to support management and operational decision-making.
  • Assist Reporting Manager and Cost Controllers in monitoring departmental costs and financial performance.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, PSC guidelines, Joint Operating Agreements, and internal control standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation to support audits (internal and external) and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate within company Delegation of Authority (DOA) and financial guidelines.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments, JV partners, HQ Finance, and SKK Migas to ensure smooth budgeting and reporting processes.
  • Support meetings and coordination related to WP&B, FQR, JIB, and other ad-hoc financial discussions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve budgeting, reporting processes, and system efficiency.
  • Support finance digitalization initiatives, including reporting automation and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, Jedox).

HSSE Commitment

  • Comply with company HSSE policies and actively participate in safety initiatives.

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business.
  • Professional certification or relevant finance/accounting coursework is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in budgeting, financial reporting, or accounting, preferably within the oil & gas or project-based environment.
  • Experience in PSC accounting, JV reporting, and regulatory reporting is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using reporting or planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Jedox) is an advantage.

Technical & Management Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of basic IFRS, cost accounting, and PSC-related regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
  • High integrity and strong commitment to compliance and company values.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
