Role Purpose:
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the companys CSR and community investment programs in the Aceh operational area within approved budget and timeline, with the objective of improving community welfare, ensuring smooth operational activities, and minimizing community disturbance. Provide stakeholder engagement support by maintaining communication, strengthening relationships, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
CSR & Community Investment Program Management
- Plan, prepare, execute (upon approval), monitor, and evaluate CSR/community investment initiatives to ensure effective implementation and alignment with corporate CSR strategy.
- Coordinate with NGOs, local communities, government bodies, and other relevant institutions to ensure program sustainability and smooth execution.
- Maintain program documentation, progress reports, monitoring records, and evaluation results.
- Support the preparation of the companys CSR Annual Report and other required internal/external reporting.
- Promote CSR activities to relevant stakeholders (local authorities, local media, community leaders) to strengthen company goodwill and social license to operate.
Stakeholder Relations
- Collect, update, and verify stakeholder data to support communication and engagement activities related to operations.
- Manage communication flows with key local stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up of issues or requests that may influence company operations.
- Act as a focal point for community-related matters and support field teams in managing local concerns and expectations.
HSSE Responsibilities
- Comply with all company HSSE policies, standards, and procedures.
- Demonstrate HSSE leadership by integrating safety considerations throughout program planning and execution.
- Actively participate in HSSE initiatives and promote safe and environmentally responsible behavior.
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
Education:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Communication, Social Science, International Relations, or other related disciplines.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in community development, CSR, or community investment programs, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing community investment/CSR initiatives that align with corporate strategies.
- Strong background in managing partnerships with government, NGOs, and local community institutions.
- Hands‑on experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of CSR/community investment programs.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, maintaining communication records, and supporting operational requirements related to local stakeholders.
- Operational exposure to handling community issues, supporting permit processes, and ensuring minimum community disturbance during field activities.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary internal teams (Operations, HSSE, Legal, Business Services) to support field and development needs.
Technical & Management Skills:
- Proficient in CSR program planning, community development frameworks, and stakeholder mapping.
- Strong capability in data collection, verification, documentation, and reporting for CSR and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Good understanding of local government structure, community dynamics, and social risk management.
- Skilled in project management: budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating program outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, able to work with multi-cultural and multi-level stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written, including conflict management and negotiation.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities in dynamic community and operational environments.
- Proven ability to build relationships, coordinate partnerships, and maintain effective communication with local authorities.
- Strong commitment to HSSE standards and ability to integrate safety principles into CSR program execution.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple programs simultaneously, and deliver results under tight timelines.
