Role Purpose:

The Specialist, Asset, Inventory, and Cost Management is responsible for supporting Business Services operations through effective management of company assets, inventories, and cost-related activities. The role ensures compliance with company policies, optimization of resources, and alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in preparing and implementing the Work Program and Budget (WP&B) for Business Services, covering supporting facilities, transportation, business travel, and other related activities.
  • Support asset and inventory management processes in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Manage and monitor asset and inventory records, including acquisition, utilization, optimization, and disposal.
  • Coordinate cost tracking, analysis, and reporting to ensure effective budgetary control and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support asset transfer, write-off, and audit processes.
  • Ensure all asset, inventory, and cost management activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Provide input to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in asset and inventory management systems and processes.
    

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in asset, inventory, or cost management, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or large-scale industrial sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP or asset management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or similar).
  • Experience in managing cross-functional communication with departments such as Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks and corporate governance standards.

Technical & Management Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Good command of English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and project management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of asset and inventory management systems, databases, and reporting tools.
