The Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Farm Hand to join our Mulgowie 4341 SEQ farm team. Reporting to the Farm Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient irrigation of our fresh produce.
Key Responsibilities
General
- Irrigation duties including, setting up of irrigation & monitoring and delivering irrigation requirements.
- Tractor Driving
- Strong communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Be willing to work flexible hours which may include some nights and weekends
People
- Work as part of the Farm Team
- Provide encouragement and a positive influence for all peers
- Comply with all legislative, environmental, and safety acts as applicable to the state we work in
- Understand the operations being carried out and the hazards and risks associated with operations
Experience Required:
- Experience in farming practices
- Australian manual driver license
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to maintain flexible work hours
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to communicate appropriately across cultures
- Ability to set a good work ethic for team members
- Conduct and present yourself in an orderly and responsible manner
