About the Role

Kingaroy, Queensland | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | No After-Hours

Are you a patient-focused General Practitioner looking for an opportunity to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive regional community? We are seeking a dedicated Vocationally Registered General Practitioner with skin cancer qualifications to join our modern, well-established practice in Kingaroy, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a strong work-life balance while delivering comprehensive primary healthcare and skin cancer services.

You will provide comprehensive general practice services while performing skin cancer checks and procedures in a collaborative, patient-centred environment. Working alongside experienced GPs, nurses, specialists and administrative staff, you will help deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality consultations, diagnosis and treatment across a broad range of general practice presentations.
  • Perform skin cancer assessments, procedures and management.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
  • Refer patients appropriately to specialists and allied health providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement, accreditation and clinical audit activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with the practice team to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Maintain professional standards through ongoing education and compliance with current clinical guidelines.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current unrestricted registration with the Medical Board/AHPRA.
  • Vocational Registration (FRACGP or FACRRM or equivalent).
  • Current medical indemnity insurance.
  • Skin cancer qualifications and procedural experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
