We are seeking a seasoned and self-motivated Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, with a strong focus on accuracy, and is eager to grow with our organization. This role is perfect for a dedicated workhorse who can ensure accurate and timely billing processes, contributing to the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
  • Prepare and process accurate billing statements for clients in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Must-have qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Billing Specialist, or similar role in accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience and comfort with QuickBooks Enterprise is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
  • Desire to grow professionally within the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with additional accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and best practices.
