Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Work closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional team to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, write clean, efficient code, and ensure system performance and scalability.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous codebase improvement.
• Stay current with Ruby on Rails best practices and backend development trends.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and API integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, clean code principles, and secure coding practices.
• Fluent English communication skills essential for client and team interactions.
• Experience in startup or fast-paced product development environments is highly preferred.
