Job Openings Product Designer

About the job Product Designer

Welcome to MICE DESK

MICE DESK is the leading European company automating the sales process in the hospitality industry — and we are now expanding to the US.

Our platform, Rocket, turns event, meeting, and group inquiries into autonomous end-to- end workflows: from RFP to signed contract, across email, CRM, and PMS systems. We integrate with the systems hotels actually run on — Oracle OPERA Cloud, SIHOT, Guestline, Salesforce, Marriott's enterprise stack — which means our engineers work inside real hotel operations, not against sandbox APIs.

We are a Series A-stage company with a deliberately small team and real enterprise traction: major hotel groups across Europe run their group sales on Rocket. The people joining now shape the product, the deployment playbook, and the culture.

The Role

Product Designers are how Rocket becomes intuitive to use. You own the end-to-end user experience across complex hospitality workflows, transforming AI-powered capabilities into clear, efficient, and production-ready product experiences.

This is not a mockups-only role. You work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to design, validate, and ship features used by enterprise hotel groups every day. A core part of the role is designing for agentic AI systems, where users collaborate with AI agents that plan, reason, and execute multi-step workflows.

If you enjoy solving complex product problems, designing modern AI-native experiences, and shaping products from concept to production, this is the role.

What You Will Own

1. End-to-end product design.

Own UX and UI across key areas of the Rocket platform. Design complete user journeys, create high-fidelity interfaces and production-ready assets, translate product requirements into intuitive experiences, and continuously improve usability and interaction quality across the platform.

2. AI-native experience design.

Design the future of human and AI collaboration by creating interfaces for AI-driven and agent-based workflows. Develop interaction patterns for multi-step AI reasoning, automation, user supervision, AI confidence states, and the presentation, validation, and refinement of AI-generated outputs.

3. Product collaboration and delivery.

Partner closely with Product and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle. Help define feature requirements, collaborate on implementation, participate in sprint planning and refinement, iterate quickly based on user feedback, and ensure every design is scalable, feasible, and ready for production.

4. User research and product insight.

Build a deep understanding of hospitality operations and customer workflows. Conduct lightweight UX research, analyze customer feedback, validate assumptions through real-world usage, and translate insights into meaningful product improvements.

5. Design systems and craft.

Build scalable design foundations by developing and maintaining a consistent design system, reusable components, and interaction patterns. Continuously raise the quality of visual design, usability, accessibility, and overall product experience.

What Success Looks Like

3 months: You've become productive across Rocket's core workflows, shipped your first production features, and built strong collaboration with Product and Engineering while contributing to our design system.

12 months: You own major product areas end-to-end, your design patterns have become part of the company's design system, and your work has significantly improved the usability and adoption of Rocket's AI-powered workflows.
