You will join MiceDesk, a fast-growing impact start-up revolutionizing technological innovation and highly qualified specialist support in the hospitality industry. MiceDesk is building an AI-driven platform that automates complex sales workflows across email, CRM, and PMS systems, helping hospitality teams accelerate revenue management through smarter, data-driven decision-making.

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Automation & AI Systems) to ensure end-to-end quality across a highly complex system involving AI workflows, integrations, and multi-system automation across enterprise hospitality environments.

Performance objectives

1) QA strategy & automation ownership

Design and implement a full automation-first QA strategy for the platform.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Define and own QA automation strategy across all core workflows

  • Build and maintain end-to-end (E2E) test suites

  • Develop integration and API test coverage for distributed systems

  • Create regression testing pipelines for continuous validation

  • Ensure full coverage of critical workflows (RFP parsing CRM offer generation)

2) Complex system & integration testing

Ensure quality across multi-system workflows and external integrations.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Test workflows across React frontend and Laravel backend systems

  • Validate integrations with Oracle Opera Cloud (OHIP APIs) and Microsoft Graph API (Outlook)

  • Ensure correct data flow across CRM, PMS, and internal systems

  • Test RPA-driven and API-driven automation workflows

  • Identify edge cases across distributed system interactions

3) AI & data quality validation

Ensure correctness and stability of AI-driven outputs and decisions.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Validate AI outputs such as RFP parsing and structured data extraction

  • Define test rules, edge cases, and validation logic for AI outputs

  • Monitor AI accuracy, drift, and failure scenarios

  • Ensure consistent and reliable AI behavior in production

4) CI/CD & quality infrastructure

Build scalable QA infrastructure integrated into delivery pipelines.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

  • Define quality gates before production releases

  • Improve deployment reliability and test execution stability

  • Ensure fast feedback loops for engineering teams

5) Debugging & root cause analysis

Investigate issues deeply across systems and integrations.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Analyze logs, API responses, and system behavior

  • Debug issues across frontend, backend, and integrations

  • Identify root causes of system failures

  • Translate production issues into test scenarios

6) Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Collaborate with Product to define acceptance criteria

  • Work with Engineering on testability and architecture improvements

  • Convert customer-reported issues into structured test cases

  • Improve product reliability through feedback loops

7) Build QA as a function

Establish scalable QA practices and long-term quality culture.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Define QA standards, processes, and best practices

  • Build reusable automation frameworks

  • Mentor future QA engineers

  • Help establish QA as a core engineering function

Ideal candidate attributes

Must-to-have skills

  • Strong English communication (B2+) — written and spoken

  • Ability to communicate clearly with international teams

  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset

  • High ownership and responsibility attitude

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in complex environments

  • 4–7+ years of experience in QA Engineering with strong automation focus

  • Experience in complex SaaS or distributed systems

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)

  • Strong understanding of E2E, integration, and regression testing

  • Strong knowledge of APIs (REST, webhooks) and system integrations

  • Ability to understand data flows across multiple systems

  • Ability to read and interpret code (JavaScript/TypeScript or similar)

  • Strong debugging and analytical skills

    Experience working with systems such as:

  • React frontend applications

  • Laravel backend systems

  • Oracle Opera Cloud (OHIP APIs)

  • Microsoft Graph API (Outlook integrations)

  • AWS (EU region infrastructure)

  • Logging & monitoring systems for debugging and observability


Nice-to-have skills

  • Experience in AI/ML testing or AI-driven systems

  • Experience in RPA automation environments

  • Experience in hospitality systems (PMS, CRM)

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or Oracle Opera Cloud

  • Experience in high-growth startup environments
