PROJECT ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for all Security Systems projects planning, execution, testing & commissioning, training the end user, and hand-over to Clients. Ensure that all required infra-structure needs are available/ready and this cover: Networking, power requirements, civil, mechanical and electrical to ensure smooth execution of the project delivery.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Site Management communicate with Site Engineer based on site from main Contractors, and/or client at time of implementing at site. As per design and shop drawing issued & verified by Senior Project Manager including the review of systems proposed (design approved, BOQ, Arranging Temp Sore Exclusively for our material day to day stock verification, Material auditing, Counting site usage, etc.)
• Manages technicians, and clients or contractors assigned workers towards actual implementation at site and oversee, through the work of senior technicians, collecting the daily progress report sketched on the shop drawing issued to the Senior Technicians also advising an alternative plan if any changes found during work implementations (site customization) as well to the general technicians and occasionally labor/production employees.
• PE will be fully responsible for creating the test reports based on cabling, terminations, power management, DB schedule list assigning to the MEP contractors, shop drawing updating based on site amendment, corrections phase, inspection and final certification activities
• PE has to produce progress reports tracking on the current job and reports of other site status of project to excel format, or on the PM scheduled MSP timeline., additional and variation work and other similar reports relevant to project execution training the Senior Technicians on the new systems according to the manual instructions of the product, as well trouble shooting on panel breakdown, hardware and software and all other technical aspect
• Support pre-sales engineers on site amendment design, BOQ variation adding devices or replacement with full spec/data sheets, review pre-qualification of the different products and proceed to procurement
• Oversees emergency breakdowns rectification and intervention based on expertise of the system known to the PE.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics or Electronics and telecommunication or a general IT degree with Physics Background.
• Certification Cisco CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, etc.), ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON), Biometrics, Barriers, Bollards, Road blocker, Spike bumps, ANPR, etc.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3 years where he/ she is exposed to all security systems disciplines on total or turn-around projects.
• Good Project Management skills
• Good people management skills
