Enterprise Supplier Development Manager

A dynamic and results-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) Senior Manager to lead and drive impactful transformation initiatives across multiple industries and regions. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned ESD professional who is passionate about economic transformation and the sustainable growth of black-owned SMMEs.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Development Studies, or related field (postgraduate advantageous)
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in an ESD, B-BBEE, or supplier development role
• Proven track record managing ESD programmes across multiple industries
• Strong knowledge of B-BBEE legislation, the Codes of Good Practice, and SMME development
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee ESD programmes in line with B-BBEE legislation and the Codes of Good Practice
• Identify, recruit, and develop qualifying SMME beneficiaries across diverse sectors
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporates, implementing partners, and SMME stakeholders
• Monitor and report on ESD programme performance, impact, and compliance
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams on ESD and B-BBEE scorecard requirements
• Manage budgets, funding mechanisms, and supplier development pipelines
• Drive enterprise development initiatives including mentorship, incubation, and access-to-market programmes
