Liquor Retail Store Manager (KZN North) Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Liquor Retail Store Manager to take charge of our store. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, managing your team, keeping stock in order, and making sure customers always leave happy.

This is a hands-on role that needs someone who is reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment.

Requirments

• At least 2 years' experience managing a bottle store or retail liquor outlet
• Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Knowledge of stock control and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when needed
• A customer-first attitude and the ability to engage with the community
• A valid driver's licence
• Minimum Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• A clear criminal record
• Ability to work on your own, meet deadlines, and handle pressure in a busy store

Duties

• Manage and schedule staff, and oversee the daily running of the store
• Handle stock ordering, receiving, rotation, and loss prevention
• Manage cash-ups and ensure accurate cash-handling at all times
• Make sure the store follows all liquor licensing laws and company policies
• Provide great customer service and handle any customer questions or concerns
• Drive sales, run promotions, and find ways to improve store performance
• Build good relationships with customers and the local community
