Junior Draughtsman

• Operating computer CAD systems creating, modifying, and releasing detailed layouts on technical drawings. .
• Generating drawings to show racking and mezzanine flooring for costing and installation.
• Ensure that setting out of staircases and mezzanine floors comply with national building standards.
• Perform occasional site visits to obtain necessary specifications, for project planning.
• Obtain completion certificates from client and communicate to accounts and warehouse department.
• Producing rough sketches before moving on to 3D computer aided drafting.
• Developing creative solutions to overcome obstacles using the required skills.
• Reporting progress to Management.
• Communicate with sales representatives, to create and revise drawings in accordance with customer order specifications
• Certificates in computer aided design CAD & Inventer, associated software. (mandatory)
• Matric completed
• Fluent in Afrikaans (reading, speaking and writing)
