Reception (Permanent) Winelands - Cape Town

Requirements 

• Grade 12 (a Hospitality certificate is an advantage)
• 1–2 years of reception experience (preferred)
• Good phone manner and strong customer service skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• A team player with good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Organised and detail-orientated
• Available to work hospitality hours — including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Comfortable working with high-profile and distinguished guests
• Able to work long hours when needed
• Well-groomed with a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Role 

• Greet and assist guests as they arrive and leave the estate in a warm and professional manner
• Share information about the estate, its facilities, art, and experiences
• Take guests on tours of the estate
• Answer and direct incoming calls on the switchboard
• Pass calls and messages on to the right person
• Keep guest and booking records up to date
• Share important updates and information with the relevant departments
• Make sure restaurant booking sheets reach the right teams
• Report any guest concerns to management
