Requirements

Grade 12.
-
SAMTRAC or a National Diploma in Safety Management (or similar).

Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Good understanding of the OHS Act and safety systems.

Computer literate (MS Office).
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.

Conduct safety inspections and audits on equipment, facilities, and work areas.

Investigate workplace incidents and implement preventative measures.

Carry out hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA).

Ensure contractors and employees follow all safety procedures and permit requirements.

Assist with safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

Monitor environmental compliance and support environmental audits.

Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance registers.

Promote a strong safety culture across all shifts.
We are looking for a SHE Officer to support and maintain high standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance on site. This role will be responsible for ensuring employees work in a safe environment and that all safety policies and legal requirements are followed.
