Fleet Controller

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Controller to join our team and help manage our client vehicles and drivers across their operations.

What you will do

• Track and monitor all vehicles in real time using fleet management software
• Plan and manage driver schedules and route assignments
• Make sure deliveries happen on time and keep customers updated
• Report vehicle breakdowns or incidents and follow up on repairs
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
• Work closely with drivers and warehouse teams to solve daily problems

What we are looking for

• At least 2–4 years of experience in fleet control or transport coordination
• Good knowledge of South African road routes and logistics operations
• Experience with fleet tracking systems (e.g. MiX Telematics, Ctrack, or similar)
• Strong communication skills — able to work well with drivers and management
• Able to stay calm and solve problems quickly under pressure
• Matric certificate required; a logistics or transport qualification is a plus
• Valid driver's licence (Code 8 minimum)
