National Operations Executive- Fuel, Retail & QSR - KZN North - Permanent

A leading Fuel, Retail and Food group seeks a National Operations Executive to run operations across filling stations, franchised quick-service restaurants and supermarkets, drive profitability and deliver the group's long-term strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Retail, Operations or a related field
• Senior management experience in FMCG, Retail, Fuel or QSR, including multi-site and regional team leadership
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, GP margins and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and BI skills; SQL is advantageous
• Working knowledge of South African labour legislation and IR processes
• Valid driver's licence, reliable own transport and willingness to travel frequently
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, with a results-driven and customer-focused approach
• Reliable, professional and sober conduct

Duties

• Lead and review the Group Strategy and identify growth and expansion opportunities
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all sites, including stock control and SOP implementation
• Drive compliance with franchise standards, brand health and safety requirements
• Manage budgets, review performance regularly and act on underperforming sites
• Build strong relationships with franchisees, suppliers and customers
• Lead, coach and develop teams, ensuring legal and IR compliance
• Manage store openings, renovations and expansions from concept to completion
