We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our online marketing and community engagement efforts for our client. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and passionate about building a strong brand presence across digital platforms.
This role involves developing and managing social media campaigns, producing engaging content, running paid advertising, and ensuring that the company maintains a positive online reputation.
Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Content Management

Plan, create, and post high-quality content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

Develop content calendars and ensure consistent posting aligned with marketing goals.

Oversee community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and maintain a professional tone across all channels.

Track performance metrics, analyse engagement data, and make recommendations for improvement.
2. Digital Marketing & Paid Media

Manage paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google.

Optimise campaign budgets, targeting, and creative content to achieve the best ROI.

Monitor ad performance and prepare detailed reports with insights and improvement strategies.
3. Online Reputation Management (ORM)

Monitor brand mentions and online conversations across social media, forums, and review platforms.

Respond promptly and tactfully to both positive and negative reviews.

Identify risks or potential crises early and assist in managing public communication when necessary.
4. Collaboration & Strategy

Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Stay updated on industry trends, new social media features, and best practices.

Provide monthly reports and insights to management.
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
-
A relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Communication, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in social media management and digital marketing

Proven experience managing paid social media and Google advertising campaigns

Solid understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)

Experience using social listening or ORM tools

Background in working with multiple brands or high-volume campaigns will be an advantage
