A prestigious luxury lodge and spa in the Cape Winelands is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Guest Service Concierge  to join their world-class hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an award-winning property renowned for delivering exceptional, personalised guest experiences.

The role is primarily administration and pre-arrival focused, requiring meticulous planning and the creation of bespoke guest itineraries. You will serve as a key touchpoint in ensuring every guest's stay is flawlessly anticipated and executed, while also supporting the Lodge Reservations function

Requirements

  • A qualification in Hospitality, Travel, or Tourism is advantageous.
  • 2–3 years' experience in a concierge or reservations environment, ideally within a luxury or 5-star property.
  • Working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a bonus.
  • A warm, confident, and professional demeanour with experience handling high-profile or VIP clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming emails and reservation correspondence promptly and accurately, ensuring responses are sent within a dedicated time slot turnaround.
  • Assist guests with arranging restaurant bookings, tours, and transfer logistics.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all applicable lodge rates, including rack rates, special offers, and contracted packages.
  • Review and verify all upcoming bookings prior to guest arrivals, ensuring accuracy and confirmations are in order.
  • Maintain and correctly utilise guest history profiles to personalise service delivery.
  • Identify and action all Special Attention Guest requests with the highest degree of care and professionalism.
  • Prepare and distribute morning arrival communications to all relevant departments each day.
  • Compile and maintain booking notes, keeping all memo information current and relevant.
