Event Manager (Permanent)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to join our client team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing a wide range of events — from corporate functions and product launches to conferences and team-building experiences. You will manage all aspects of event delivery, ensuring flawless execution within budget and on time.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event management or a related field
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Events Management, Marketing, or Hospitality (advantageous)
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale events
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end event logistics for corporate and private events
• Source and negotiate with venues, suppliers, and service providers
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Create detailed event briefs, run sheets, and post-event reports
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Oversee on-site setup, execution, and breakdown of events
• Manage event marketing, invitations, and attendee communication
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all events
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
