Executive (SAP Technology Services)

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent field.

• A Diploma Holder with many years of experience may be applicable.

• Certification in SAP would be an added advantage.

• A recognised IT professional certification in the related field is preferable, e.g. ITIL, Project Management or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in SAP project implementation and/or Support services of any SAP modules (financial, logistics, etc.) or SAP technical areas (ABAP, Webdynpro, Basis, XI/PI, etc.)

• Knowledgeable in the relevant IT area(s) such as systems application development, office automation tools and internet base applications

• Ability to strategically analyse business and technology improvements which are beneficial to the organisation and drive the changes to achieve end results

 

Responsibility

Responsible to deliver and execute the assigned responsibilities within the SAP Development and Technology Services department under SAP Technology Services, which may include supporting SAP project delivery, technical support or system enhancements, in alignment with PETRONAS ICT’s business strategy and roadmap towards achieving world class ICT. This position reports directly to the Manager, SAP Technology Services.


Roles and Responsibilities


• Provide the necessary technical support in business engagements and proposal development to support SAP Development and Technology Services solutions, build good relationships with respective businesses during project delivery and support phase, respond to user queries, provide regular updates, and resolve issues efficiently with minimal business impact.

• Execute responsibilities as assigned within the SAP Development and Technology Services department from solutioning to delivery and support in accordance to the Delivery Excellence (DEX) model to ensure projects are delivered on time, within specifications and budget with proper handover to the support team to ensure sustainability. This may encompass troubleshooting of incidents or service requests, supporting change requests, training users on system functionalities, data modelling, system optimisation and minimise outages.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve operations efficiency and effectiveness within the SAP Development and Technology Services department in addition to achieving the minimum SLA targets for SAP Development and Technology Services (if applicable) as agreed by the Business and reported in the Service Level Management Committee (SLMC), to meet business satisfaction levels.

• Adhere to the planned SAP Development and Technology Services department financials including revenue, costs and profitability margins within the department by practicing cost transparency, accurate charging and timely reporting in accordance to PET-ICT’s financial standards and guidelines to maintain good financial health for the division.

• Execute the SAP Development and Technology Services department’s strategy in alignment with the overall PET-ICT strategy to deliver all business plans by adopting industry best practices to achieve delivery and operations excellence within the division.
