DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Business Analysis Intern to join our clients team for a 3-month internship. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in business analysis within the mortgage industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Business Analyst in gathering and analysing data to identify business trends and opportunities
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse data for specific projects
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management
  • Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and solutions to business challenges
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the mortgage industry and company operations
  • Support the Business Analyst in ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

LOCATION:

This internship is based at our clients office on St Kilda Rd, VIC, Australia.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

This is a 3-month internship with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The intern will work 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate class commitments.
