Job Description


Able to promote and explain merchandise product knowledge of customers' needs and assist customers in finding and purchasing the required merchandise in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and maintain the sales requirement of the store manager.
  • Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
  • Describe merchandise and explain the use operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
  • Prepare a copy of the sales invoice or sales receipt for customer reference.
  • Place special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
  • Demonstrate the use or operation of merchandise.
  • Help customers try on merchandise to ensure the product is in good condition and functional before purchase.
  • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise, and delivery options.
  • Educate and inform customers about the benefits and features of the company's products.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
  • Monitor inventory by means of daily checks and stock takes.
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up hanging mobiles.
  • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Malaysian citizen, within 20 - 40 years old
  • Working experience in Retail Sector or Fresh - SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree in any sector is welcome.
  • High energy and strong passion for the retail industry.
  • Committed to continuous-learning and self-improvement.
  • Positive attitude and ability to approach adversity with growth mind-set.
  • Excellent at articulating information in both writing and speaking English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is added-advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and those with customer centric acumen will be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
