Job Description: We are currently seeking a Class 3 Driver with mechanical and welding skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving commercial vehicles, along with mechanical and welding skills that will be advantageous in our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 3 vehicle to transport prefabricated homes to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Assist with loading and unloading of prefabricated homes, using mechanical and welding skills when necessary
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery of homes
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, provincial, and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the transportation industry
• Mechanical and welding skills will be considered an asset
• Fluent in spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Housing:

• Company-provided housing: Free accommodation
• Wage: $20-25 per hour
• If accommodation is not needed, wage ranges from $25-35 per hour (depending on experience and skills)
