About the Role

We are recruiting a KG1 Teacher for a developing British international school in Fallujah opening its doors for the first time. This role is suited to an educator who understands early childhood development and can create a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

You will be responsible for supporting children at the very start of their educational journey, helping them build confidence, independence, and key foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Early Years    standards.
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with parents to support learning beyond the classroom.
- Maintain strong safeguarding and child protection practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Early Years Education or related field
- QTS, EYTS, or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in KG/EYFS settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

- Phonics experience
- Experience in international or developing school environments
- Ability to adapt to new cultural and educational settings
