Introduction

As an Account Handler, you'll manage broking support functions, ensuring high standards. You'll prepare documentation like slips, contracts, policies, endorsements, and placement presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Create Documentation: Prepare slips, contracts, policies, endorsements, and presentations. Check taxes and regulatory statuses. Onboard new clients and markets.
  • Record Keeping: Monitor and maintain accurate records. Handle general office duties.
  • Support Brokers: Provide day-to-day client/(re)insurer contact. Analyse client data. Ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Development: Contribute to your Professional Development Plan. Engage in Continuous Professional Development.

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Education

  • Good education in numeracy and English.
  • CII qualifications (desirable).
  • Knowledge of a foreign language, especially Spanish (desirable).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Familiarity with Treaty reinsurance, IT systems, and FCA rules (training provided).
