As a Casualty Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our policy production process. You will work on complex accounts, provide guidance to broker assistants, and collaborate with claims to produce top-tier wordings and products. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards and support the growth of our expanding division.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and improve internal processes.
Produce policy documentation for important and complex accounts.
Handle new business slips, including primary, lead umbrella, and excess.
Guide broker assistants in creating policy documentation.
Collaborate with claims to ensure best-in-class wordings/products.
Monitor and maintain audit-ready files.
Update slip templates and wording libraries.
Ensure compulsory documents (slip, checklist) are completed.
Manage client submissions and negotiate quotes.
Complete and send policies for processing.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of legal liability and coverage for casualty risks.
Expertise in slips and requirements for Lloyds and company markets.
High attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Ability to deliver best-in-class products.
Ambitious and a good team player.
Desire for longevity in the role and growth within the division.

Ensure submission market readiness within 48 hours.
Keep clients and the market updated regularly.
