Kitchen / Deli Supervisor

Nadler's bakery & deli is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen / Deli Supervisor to join our team in San Antonio, TX. Position Overview:

As the Kitchen / Deli Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and deli, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in accordance with company standards. You will also be responsible for managing a team of kitchen and deli staff, scheduling and training employees, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and deli

- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with company standards

- Manage a team of kitchen and deli staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Develop and implement new menu items and specials

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Participate in menu planning and cost control efforts

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or deli supervisor role

- Strong knowledge of food preparation and safety standards

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proven track record of managing a team and achieving results

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
