About the job Team Lead RF Engineer

I am looking for an experienced Radio-Frequency (RF) Engineer to join my client in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

The role is based in the Netherlands; relocation support can be discussed for candidates currently living abroad.

As a Team Lead RF Engineer, you will take a key technical role in the development of advanced RF modules for radar applications. In this position, you will act as a technical authority for high-frequency RF design, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete development cycle from concept to validated hardware.

You will also

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of high-frequency RF circuits for radar and related systems
  • Own RF architecture and key design decisions in the 2–4 GHz frequency range
  • Perform and review RF simulations, PCB layouts, and design trade-offs to ensure optimal performance and manufacturability
  • Oversee prototype bring-up, tuning, debugging, and RF measurements, acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Provide technical leadership to a small team of RF engineers (2–3 people), including mentoring, design reviews, and task prioritization
  • Coordinate and technically guide external consultants and development partners
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software, systems, and sourcing teams to ensure system-level performance and component availability
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap definition, design standards, and continuous improvement of RF development processes

You have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in RF circuit design within the 2–4 GHz frequency range (more is a strong plus)
  • Solid experience with radar systems or comparable high-frequency RF applications
  • Strong hands-on expertise in RF measurements, tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to take technical ownership and lead complex RF development activities
  • Professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing organization and adapting to evolving technical and organizational needs

What you can expect:

  • Excellent salary package: aligned with industry standards and reflective of your expertise and experience.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: including pension plan, and a generous amount of paid time off (31 days off), holiday allowance (8%), travel allowance.
  • Friday afternoon get-togethers (drinks and food).
  • BBQ's parties when the weather allows it, and seasonal company events/activities with your colleagues.
