In this position, the Sales Development Representative acts as the first point of contact for potential customers. Through initial conversations with managing directors and procurement decision-makers, the role focuses on presenting innovative solutions for efficient energy management—a critical topic for the European SME sector with a direct impact on sustainability and competitiveness.

The objective of the role is to clearly communicate the company's core value proposition, making it tangible, compelling, and easy to understand from the very first interaction.

You will:

  • Take ownership of the initial phase of customer engagement by identifying decision-makers, establishing direct contact, and scheduling meetings for product presentations
  • Conduct qualified discovery calls, develop a solid understanding of customer challenges, and present the product portfolio in a customer-focused manner
  • Develop in-depth expertise in one of the world's largest and most dynamic markets. The energy sector is undergoing rapid transformation, and high-quality advisory is essential for industrial clients. This role sits at the center of knowledge, insight, and solution delivery

You have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in commercial roles such as sales, business development, or a similar function
  • Native-level German and advanced proficiency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders quickly, understand business needs, and position appropriate solutions convincingly
  • Excellent communication skills, persuasiveness, and a high level of resilience
  • Prior experience in the energy sector is an advantage; a strong interest in the industry is essential
  • Ability to remain focused and motivated despite setbacks
  • Highly customer-oriented with a results-driven mindset
  • Nice to have: experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems
