Job Position: Conventional Machinist
Company Background: Diesel Engine Repair Service
Office Location: Benoi Rd, Singapore 629881 (MRT: Green -EW 30)
Working Hours: 8 am - 530pm; Mon - Fri
Salary Package: Basic SGD 1,800 ~ SGD 2,200
Benefit: Allowance / Incentive will be open discussion in the Interview session

Allowance: OT beyond 2 hrs, there will be $5 meal allowance

Job Description :
- Able to machine parts accurately and quickly from engineered drawings
- Must be able to interpret technical drawings and other technical documents to determine appropriate repair parts and procedures. Operates and inspects completed work to determine repair success.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on a daily basis
- Conduct daily machine tool preventive maintenance
- Organized and stored machining fixtures for future use
- Identifies parts that need to be replaced and places orders for parts or repair services as necessary for themselves and the mechanical technicians.
- Assist the workshop supervisor/technical director to complete the work scope within the time frame given and perform self-inspection on finished work-piece
- Must be able to manage time and coordinate all aspects of the job that is assigned by the Supervisor or Workshop Manager.
- Demonstrates efficient job planning and time scheduling
- Must execute all tasks with all prescribed safety equipment in place and person using applicable OSHA rules for themselves and the mechanical technicians.
- Any other task as and when assigned by manager/management.
Job Requirement :
- Operate conventional horizontal lathe machines with min. 3 years experience
- Good basic knowledge of cutting tool applications, fixture devices, part settings, and machine settings in different sizes.
- Able to understand the blueprint
