Position: Spa Manager
Job Summary:
The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of spa operations across multiple branches. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, financial oversight, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The Spa Manager will work closely with top management to develop business strategies, improve service standards, and lead operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the wellness and beauty industry, and a proven track record in managing spa operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Managing Director and General Manager for the efficient operations of the entire company’s spa activities, lead multiple cross-functional project teams, mitigating cost structure, and working out effective strategies for improving the overall facets of the spa & wellness business.
Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the spa.
Ensure a financially successful Spa by working within budgeting guidelines, controlling operating costs and maximising sales awareness within the team.
Managing day-to-day activities of the organization’s spa branches, analyzing statistics, writing reports and coming up with effective recommendations.
Have to do a lot of liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization and presenting findings to the higher management.
Work closely with the Accounts Dept in setting and reviewing budgets and assist in managing costs.
Liaises with the Human Resources Dept for the training and development of all staff to ensure that effective training programs are implemented.
Planning, directing and controlling change and development of the entire spa’s businesses.
Making sure that the company is running as possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.
Performs business tasks, as well as working directly with the other depts mgrs. & and making sure that the customers are provided with the right/appropriate services
Plans and organizes both long & short-term quality assurance programmes and services for the company’s overall businesses and to be viable at all times.
Liaises with the top management in developing and maintaining efficient business services systems taking into account the changing circumstances and trends (researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency).
To comply with all formal instructions directed by the director of the company.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy, or Business Management diploma/courses or any related field.
Preferably with strong Sales & Marketing background and leadership skills.
Minimum 8 years of solid work experience in a well-known, reputable, and established spa/wellness/salon industry as Spa Operations Manager.
Preferably with TESDA Certifications related to spa & wellness.
Strong leadership and computer skills.
Technical hands-on knowledge in all facets of spa/wellness services.
