SCREENSHOT OF ROLE
Manage all aspects of key departments, including creating garment specifications, developing blocks, and overseeing the sealing process from prototype to shipment approval.
Take ownership of the product's technical performance. Ensure all products meet legislation, safety, and quality standards. Manage test reports and resolve any testing queries.
Risk assessing product quality standards and production issues, including safety, wearer trials, performance, minimum make standards, and potential production issues.
Working directly with factories on washcare label approvals
Manage fit sessions, ensuring all fit samples are measured and checked against previous fit comments, and giving any initial comments relevant to the fit session. Take ownership and lead fit sessions.
Work closely with designers and PD to ensure quality inspection and approval of all pre-production and production samples to ensure the highest standard.
Creating grade rules and advising factories on grading
A GOOD FIT
A genuine love for the brand and understanding of our mission
Previous experience with Jersey and sportswear is preferable
Knowledge of garment construction, fit, quality, and care instructions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with unisex/dual sizing grading is preferable
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
Support department and wider NAMED team during peak periods
Understanding of sustainability processes and sustainable garment production
Familiarity with factory audits and interpreting audit reports
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment, delivering successful projects on time
Based in London
