DATA MODELER: 
To work with the Dealer Data Strategy team, internal Client groups, and Client dealers to strategically build out the Global Dealer Common Data Model (GD-CDM), help dealers align with the GD-CDM, improve data quality and governance across the enterprise, and help dealers and Client collaborate to deliver significant business value from their data.

Typical Day
Work with the Dealer Data Strategy (DDS) team, internal Client groups, and Client dealers to identify, understand, and document use cases and business requirements for dealer, enterprise, and industry data that will deliver significant business value to the enterprise. 
Develop value stories and empower and coach Client and dealer leaders to tell the story of the value of data they are delivering to their business using the GD-CDM. 
Collaborate with Client groups, Client dealers, and third-party vendors to identify and build analytics, applications, and integrations on top of the GD-CDM that deliver significant business value. 
Collaborate with the DDS team to design logical and physical data models to deliver data that will create significant business value. 
Work with Client counterparts to map data from the GD-CDM to the Client internal data repository. 
Create and maintain documentation for the data dictionary, data interfaces, data governance, dealer data flows, and more. 
Help build the GD-CDM knowledge repository. 
Provide consultation on use of data to other groups within Client and to Client dealers. 
Work with the DDS team, along with the Client Data Governance Office, to define, document, and implement data governance and change management standards and processes and work with dealers and Client teams to ensure all parties understand and are in alignment with those standards. 
Facilitate the use of a common language and understanding of the data between dealers and Client teams. 
Participate in requirements for any enhancements to the data management systems. 
Create metrics reporting on data management activities as defined. 
Monitor and act on any workflow requests for new, changed, or removal of data. 
Interact with people from multiple business areas to determine the correct actions for data changes. 
This may require scheduling meetings or escalating questions or concerns appropriately. 
Help create leadership presentations and interact with leaders in setting direction for data management needs. 
Define data best practices and governance standards including validation approaches to create, monitor, and maintain data quality. 
Refine the data management strategy and define continuous improvement goals of data quality, governance, and processes.
Create SQL queries, analyze the results, and review and resolve any concerns with dealers to validate the data between source and target databases to ensure data quality. 
Execute maturity assessments of the data quality on a defined frequency. 
Identify missing or incorrect data and data standards. 
Flexibility to occasionally attend early morning or evening virtual meetings with dealers around the globe. 
Availability to occasionally travel. Be able to prioritize work to achieve business goals.

Education Requirements: 
Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in an IT-related discipline and 10+ years of data experience

Technical Skills
10+ years of experience in strategic development to identify and build business value from enterprise data 
10+ years of SQL query writing and data analysis experience (particularly with Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, and/or AWS Redshift) 
10+ years of data management experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance) 
7+ years of data modeling experience with Erwin 
7+ years of experience in data quality and ETL QA testing 
5+ of progressively responsible project management, team leader, or technical leadership experience 
3+ years of experience in change management and release cycles in a large enterprise 

TECHNICAL SKILLS TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE: 
Experience with Microsoft''s ADRM industry data models and/or the Cloud Information Model is highly desirable
