Our client is a high-growth capital markets platform that is supercharging the clean economy. They are changing the way clean energy and manufacturing projects are financed in the U.S. by providing the software, market intelligence, and infrastructure needed to unlock billions in critical financing.

The Role

We are hiring the first AI Product Engineer for this team. This is a true 0-to-1 opportunity. You will work hand-in-hand with customers, product, commercial, and legal teams to reimagine the way transactions happen in clean energy finance, starting with diligence.

You won't just be building featuresyou will be co-designing the processes, selecting the frameworks, and building the systems that define how the company ships high-quality AI products for the long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Build 0 $\ to$1 Products: Architect and ship user-facing LLM products from scratch that solve complex financial workflows.
• Define the Stack: Select the tools, frameworks, and AI infrastructure used to scale the platform.
• Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to understand their pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Engineering Culture: Help invent the framework for shipping AI products using first principles and raise the bar for the engineering culture.
• Full-Stack Development: Work across the entire stack, from frontend UX decisions to backend logic and AI integration.

Requirements

• Experience: 5-7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building products end-to-end (Frontend + Backend).
• AI/LLM Expertise: 1-2+ years of proven experience building and shipping user-facing LLM products (experience with evals & CI/CD for AI is a huge plus).
• Tech Stack: Fluency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Comfortable with Supabase and Postgres.
• Startup DNA: Strong experience at high-growth SaaS startups; you are comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in prompting and communicating effectively with AI models.
• Comfortable making UX decisions and iterating on product design.
• Background in Vertical SaaS or B2B AI startups.
